My name is Haotian Zhang. I am pursuing a PhD degree in the Intelligent Visual Data Coding Laboratory at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). My supervisors are Professor Dong Liu and Professor Li Li.

My research interests include:

  • Image/Video compression
  • Machine learning
  • Computer vision

My recent research focuses on:

  • End-to-end optimization techniques for learned image/video compression
  • Practical learned image/video compression system
